Chris McCabe

Chris McCabe is enrolled in ECU’s Maritime Studies Program but has spent the last few years living along the coast of Maine working onboard traditional sailing vessels.  He served in the U.S. Navy as a Helicopter SAR Aircrewman, and earned his BA from Pennsylvania State University.  In 2003 he participated in an archaeological study of the 1779 Penobscot Expedition with a team from the University of Maine, and also assisted in the construction of a wooden schooner launched in Rockport, Maine.
