Proud Supporters of the Dolphin SMART Program

proud supporter logoProud Supporters of Dolphin SMART support the program mission by raising public awareness for the program, while promoting responsible viewing and advertising of wild dolphins. Increased awareness of the program serves to further educate the public about the importance of booking Dolphin SMART and responsibly viewing wild dolphins to aid in conservation. By being a Dolphin SMART Proud Supporter, companies and organizations also become stewards for the environment and dolphin conservation!

Dolphin SMART Proud Supporters raise awareness for the program and show their support by:

    proud supporter logo
  1. Displaying program posters and other outreach materials;
  2. Encouraging the public to learn about the Dolphin SMART program and why booking Dolphin SMART helps dolphins; and
  3. Providing outreach materials to help the public responsibly view wild dolphins.

How your business can become a Proud Supporter

Proud Supporters can be a company or organization that promotes dolphin viewing tours or responsible viewing of wild dolphins but is not eligible to participate in the Dolphin SMART program as an operator (i.e. commercial businesses that solely or opportunistically view wild dolphins). Proud Supporters may include, but are not limited to, travel consultants or agents, non-profits and agencies, media, and commercial businesses who offer services operating around wild dolphin habitat.

Companies and organizations interested in becoming a Dolphin SMART Proud Supporter should:

  1. Review the checklist on "What it means to be a Proud Supporter" for eligibility; and
  2. Contact the local Dolphin SMART coordinator at contact@dolphinsmart.org.
