ResponseLINK is designed to serve oil spill responders. It can be used to access NOAA Hotline reports, National Response Center incident notifications, and NOAA's Office of Response and Restoration (OR&R) contact and locator information. This site is also useful for members of Regional Response Teams (RRTs), who can view Hotline reports and incident notifications, and contact information for their region's Scientific Support Coordinator (SSC).

Incident News contains information provided and approved by the Unified Command for specific spill incidents. The Unified Command is the group responsible for conducting response operations at the scene of an incident. It is usually comprised of the U.S. Coast Guard Federal On-Scene Coordinator, the State On-Scene Coordinator, and a representative of the responsible party. Information is posted on the site as it becomes available.
