Memorial Garden

The Office of National Marine Sanctuaries dedicated the Memorial Garden on September 11, 2013, on the grounds of the Dr. Nancy Foster Florida Keys Environmental Complex in Key West, Florida, to honor their colleagues, volunteers and federal partners who have passed.

These honorees are nominated and selected by peers in the Nation's National Marine Sanctuary System, and are recognized for their service to in a truly outstanding and honorable manner. They represent the many faces, facets and professions needed to operate the various functions at the National Marine Sanctuaries.

The Memorial Garden is situated by the water and looks westward into the setting sun. It is a forever guidepost for us and all who join us as we work toward a sustainable future. The following individuals selected to be inscribed on the Memorial are a reflection of the values we place on the significance, contributions and sacrifices they have made.
